Piper, singer and musician, Miguel Quitério moves between traditional music and contemporary creation, exploring the places where memory, melody and movement meet.

Rooted in Portuguese tradition, his music travels between old voices and new sounds, between the melodies we inherit and the ones that emerge from the present. Along the way, the whistle, the bagpipes and the voice become ways of listening to what came before, while making room for something new to take shape.

For Miguel, music is not simply something to be made, but something that happens — a space of sharing, movement and discovery. A way of carrying hope forward, opening paths between people and allowing freedom to be heard.
